Noob question - Export to avi in video sequence editor

Hi,

Today I tried to learn to work with the video sequence editor. I dragged some movie and image files in the sequencer and now am I looking for the “save as movie button”.

Can someone help me.

You render it just like you would normally render an animation from the 3d view.
In the render settings select ‘Do Sequence’ (to output from the sequencer, I believe its in the Post Processing tab), select the video format from the format settings, select the frame start/stop and press 'Animation or ‘Movie’ cannot remember what they call it now, next to the normal render button.
