Noob Question

when rigging a model in blender, is there a way to put a limit on how far the armatures can bend?

lets say you have a human model and you have just riged it with a basic bone structure. can you put a boundary on how far you are able to put them? it would make it look better in terms of if you are animating something and you put the bone to far back and therefore makes it look awkward and unrealistic.

i believe those are called “constraints”. I dont have any experience in animating, but look up constraint tutorials on google.
