Noob: quick grid size display?

GRID SIZE DISPLAY?: I find it surprisingly helpful to glance down and see the grid size display when I’m modeling.

I can’t seem to find this in 2.80

Ideally, it’d be onscreen constantly, and always have contrast to whatever it was over, if it’s in the 3d vuport.

It doesn’t seem to be there in 2.80, but it is in 2.81 in orthographic views.

Ahh, good.

I’m not sure why they remove it in perspective view, I’m still seeing a grid, it would still be useful there, though admittedly a bit less than in orthographic.
