Hey,
I’m about to make clothing for my character. But before I do that, I wanna make sure I understand cloth properly. So I’ve set up a test scene with a plane (acting as a cloth), above a cube. I’ve subdivided the plane and given it a little weight painting. The idea is that the cloth will kind of drape down from where I’ve weight painted it. Then I wanna figure out how to make it collide with the cube.
The problem is this: I can’t get it to animate. I understand that Alt+A plays a preview of the animation, and I know where the cloth settings are, but I haven’t been able to make it so the cloth actually falls, instead of staying stiff in the air above the cube.
Any help would be incredibly awesome.
Simplify.
Do tests without the V group first.
Without the vertex group? Are you referring to the cube?
Ok, just wanna say I think I figured it out, so this thread can be ignored or deleted>.>
