Nordic Landscape

Hi !

I try to made an environment inspired by Lofoten Islands in Norway and the beautiful work of William Faucher.
The first render is from Davinci Resolve, and the second from Blender.

I modeled the house, the sea coast, and the sea. The wave is a smoke simulation with a particle simulation.
I baked it and import as a VDB.
For the sea cost, I made with the add-on A.N.T Landscape, and I blended 3 rocks textures from https://3dassets.one/#tags=rock&order=latest
I try to make the cost wet with the rigosity.

I think you meant you were inspired by ‘Lofoten’ by William Faucher.

First I saw this image on unsplash after searching Nordic landscape

And then I searched on Youtube and saw the incredible video of William Faucher.

So it’s a part of my inspiration if you want.

Was that this video?

I saw it as well, amazing work done by him. PS why post such a small image here, details hardly show in such small image size

Hi,
Yes it’s this video.
I imported a high quality image (1920x1080), but I don’t know why it’s small here…

Thanks, I’m sorry I didn’t save my scene on Davinci, but I followed this video :

I changed a few options to get the result I want.

I like the bright colors of the buildings against the the blueish background. It makes the buildings stand out.
