Normal bake not working! Help!

I am attempting a normal bake but my UV Editor View Port shows a texture that is flat and purple, the same kind you would get if you forgot to select the hi poly model before baking. However, I very clearly have both models highlighted with the hi poly as primary. Here is a screen shot to fill in some info. I feel like it’s something simple - am I missing a step or something?! Have you tried increasing the Bias value ?
