Normal map being wonky

I’m using substance painter maps for my texturing my mesh and for some reason normal map will not function correctly, tried many different things to fix it, here are two renders, one from substance, and other in blender, the grip on the machine gun is glassy and grey when I add the normal map, even though it should be leathery

The last image is the render in cycles, its closer to what I would like.

Please help!

A normal map needs to go through a normal map node to be interpreted correctly.

You also have to use the color output rather than the alpha.
