Normal Map Test

Here is a normal map test.
Hires model sculpted in zbrush, and low res using the retopo tool.
Normal map was generated using xNormal.

cool model, i think you need to ctrl+N ( recalculate normals outside ) mainly on the ear though. it looks like your normals got flipped backwards at some point.

This is just a test. Mostly focusing on the workflow. Zbrush -> xNormal -> Blender.

The ear was not retopo’ed correctly, as this was just practicing (two nights only). I will be moving onto another concept model.

Why don’t you just use Zbrush’s normal maps?
