Is it possible to create standard normal map from Cycles normal pass? I found how to create it from BI normal pass here: http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/14044/render-entire-scene-normals I tried to take out invert node and adjust multiply and add values and it gives usable results. Is there better way or do you know exact values for add and multiply, I can’t find any documentation for this? Thanks.
Exact values are 0.5 in case of every node.
However the problem here may be that cycles calculates normals in object space, not in camera space.
Thanks for reply. Yes it is the object space and I’m using orthographic camera without rotation. If you mean 0.5 R, G and B I tried that and it is too bright.
