normals size

I have some rather largish models which need to be that big because they get exported to .obj in another program and have to stay in scale.

Now if I want to check normals the lines are tiny and I have a hard time discovering their direction. Their size is capped to 2.000 and I wish that would be larger.

Is that possible? Why is that capped in first place?


It seems you can’t go higher than that. But maybe you could jsut scale your objects down 1000 times , check your normals now, and then, once you’ve made sure of their integrity, scale them back to normal. (Maybe do that in edit mode)
I can’t think of another way round that, but i don’t really use obj, so…
