Not another Sketchup Import/Export question...

Hey everyone,

I’m fairly new to Blender, currently plowing through Blender Underground’s basic tutorial series which has been invaluable in teaching me how to operate this fantastic software.

I’m trying to import some of my old models made in Google’s Sketchup to be cleaned up, textured etc… then imported into Epic Game’s UDK. But I’ve run into some scaling problems.

The import itself is perfectly clean, everything appears exactly as it was in Sketchup, minus the welding and smoothing I’ve had to do. The problem is the model is very small. When I get it into UDK it is not the size I modelled it in Sketchup.

To my understanding Blender multiplies the size of the model by 16 when exporting for UDK, 16 Unreal units being equal to 1 foot. So simply put this means I’m treating 1 Blender unit as 1 foot correct?

How do I ensure that my model from sketchup (Which has been modelled in feet) imports with a 1:1 scale?

At the minute a building, which I believe is about 60ft across only takes up 2 Blender Units. I know I could use the scale widget, but I really want this to be dead on precise.

Thanks for any help,

Alex.
