I have a scene with lighting rigs setup to highlight a shiny object on a glossy floor. I like how the light shines on my object but don’t want my lighting rigs (emission planes) appear in the reflection of the glossy floor. How do I set my scene to achieve that? I using blender cycle btw.
the light info path has rayy-depth which is a lightray bounce counter
combined with an IF you might be able to not show it if its a lightray with one bounce
You can go to the object properties of the floor and at the very bottom under ‘Ray Visibility’ uncheck ‘Glossy Rays’.
