got the idea from fengs work…agian %| …i have nothin on my brain so I thought that I should make another feng fanart.

PS: just for the record Im not a Fengs groupie…just a fan.

I find it rather interesting. I don’t know what it is, though. :-?

very cool, im seeing a very dark, very moody pic with lots of rust and crud. that or a clinically clean one %|

Nice start, i have that problem as well (trying to find something to do). Anyway what i see in your pic is a Space ship at a space station docked.

Looks like a set from Starwars. Remixnds me of cloud city or something, an interior with a long shaft below.

Thats cool it kindof reminds me of star wars for some reason

ok this is my first post processing  …what do you guys think?

Nice work. Not sure I like the colour, but that is just a personal thing.

Keep on going.

BgDM

Ahh, now it looks a lot less starwarsey, probably because of the lack of strurts in the sort of cone shaped window thing, and the colours.

now it needs like a stone column to sit inside and runny rust lines and cracks in the windows with algea. Sweet decay.

cause it looks like r2d2 when its white and blue  heh

ok Im not sure about this one :expressionless: …is it too dark?..any suggestion that may help me improve it is greatly apriciated…Im using photoshop btw.

cool looking. maybe try lighting it with radiosity.

I think maybe you should bevel the corners of the objects, and add a bit more light apart from green…

just done rending it on yafray just thought I should post it.

It still needs detail and texturing. Just rendering it in yafray has done nothing for the scene but give unrealistic models realistic shadows. If you ask me it was a waste of time to render it in yafray before adding textures.

Rolando, I hate saying this but I really dig the Yaf render. I’m a bit one track minded about Blender’s internal renderer, but for the kind of global illumination that you achieved in your Yaf render, I know it’s easier than faking it with Blender. The env mapping on the main body is a nice touch.

The green render higher up has a lot of mood about it. It gives the impression that your looking at it through night vision goggles.

Good work so far,

Sonix.

Nice. What you need to do now is fix the aliasing problem. You are probably asking yourself “but I have OSA cranked and it STILL looks pixely?”. Bevels. Bevels is the magic word. Nothing…NOTHING…has a CG sharp edge…nothing! Not even a razor blade! You will flip from the results this could yield if used in your scene…and after doing so perhaps you will start to recieve better results from Desoto as well  .

Take care buddy.

Cheers,
Landis
