I scale all the components of my ocean waves simulation on the Y-axis to later bake data, but when I bake the data, no particles show up. Why is this, and what could I be getting wrong?

Note: The particles will only show starting at 90 Resolution Subdivisions.
Note #2: When I actually do have the simulation size scaled-down, sometimes the inflow object will either fill the space only to where the top of the inflow object is, or actually start filling the entire domain beyond the top of the inflow object (obviously until the inflow is turned off). Not sure what determines this.
