nSolve

OK, I’ve worked through each of the “Artisans of Vaul” tutorials. Really helpful, and now I feel like I know enough to start saving time with this tool. I really like the way nSolve feels while working with a tablet! I’m not sure yet how I feel about the click-based UI… feels like it slows down use a bit? I feel like I’d benefit either from every tool being hotkeyed, or in pie menu for absolute top-speed. Either way, it’s still pretty fast even if it could be pushed further.

Anyhow, I came to report that I’ve encountered my first traceback error while using the Merge tool. I’m on Blender 4.3.2 LTS and using nSolve 0.0.3b. I don’t know what I did to cause the traceback… I was using the merge tool and then navigated around my model in the viewport, when suddenly the traceback appeared. Going to restart Blender.

Thank you for the report. I will have that checked into. Did you happen to drag your cursor outside of the 3d view? We tried our best to resolve any small nuances but I suppose something snuck through with merge. It could have been related to a multi view mode or something going out of viewport.

I have no way to be sure, but that’s certainly within the bounds of possibility. I might’ve bumped the RMB rocker on my stylus while holding the shift key and repositioned the cursor somewhere.

an update has been added to resolve the reported issue.
