HI , emulate numpad emulates it with making the noramal numbers as the num’s numbers , now , the question , where do i find the numpad’s dot , to view selected as in the menu <view> > view selected …

Emulating them is a pain because the numbers are otherwise handy shortcuts to layers etc. Check that your laptop doesn’t have an FN key with equivalents (looks for blue numbers on your keys that FN-key works with). I reckon you’d be way better off investing in one of those stick-in USB add ons.
