nVidia + Blender + Red Hat 9

Hi.

I have a nVidia GeForce4 440 SE and before I had a nVidia Riva TNT2 card. With both of them, I had some refreshing issue with all versions of Blender, on GNOME over Red Hat Linux 9 [Shrike] (I downloaded almost all versions, really), except with the statically linked 2.23. This is a link to a screenshot of this refreshing bug:

Anyone has this problem or can help me?

Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Yes I manually downloaded the source code of the nVidia kernel driver and the XFree86 GLX driver and I installed alll and I have good acceleration on games like Racer for Linux, and I tried to tweak the /etc/X11/XF86Config, and… the bug still appears…

Try enabling HWCursor in your XF86Config.
Is this problem similar to

I’ve enabled hardware cursor manually, restarted the X server… and the bug still appeears. I’ve downloaded YaNC and used it to enable hardware cursor… and the bug still appears. :frowning:

Can anyone that had the same bug and has a nVidia video card and have corrected the bug send me his/her XF86Config file please?

Thanx in advance.
