Hello,

I just have a simple question. I’m planning to upgrade my rig for some fast and medium-duty HD rendering for animation.

I want to try Cycles and GPU rendering.

Is an NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB video card supported by Blender 2.68a and higher?

Yes. In fact, that will work wonderfully.

You may want to consider buying the 6GB version, since that will give you room to breathe in the future.

Yes 780s work nicely in Cycles, make sure your drivers are up to date and use a recent version of blender.
