Nvidia NVS 420

I cant find the GPU option for my graphic card I have installed an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420.

Someone can help me out I would like to test my scenes using the gpu, I search the forum and dont find anything specific for this gpu.

Your GPU only supports CUDA computing capability 1.1. Official Builds require at least 1.3.

So between this gpu and a cheap ati radeon hd2400 that costs like U$50,00, the ati at least can render using the gpu where the NVS that costs U$300,00 dont?

That ATI won’t be able to render with the GPU, it is not CUDA (NVidia only) enabled and OpenCL is now on hold.

Damn, two gpu´s one expensive and other very cheap and neither can be used with blender? There isnt anyway that I can use the nvidia?

There is plenty of choice from low end to high end https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus

No, just stick to cpu rendering and learn to optimise your scene to be appropriate for the hardware/time you have available.

Ok, thanks.
