nvidia has released the Real-Time Ray Tracer.

is there a date for it to be integrated in blender?

As far as I know, it is biased raytracing and requires new rendering engine plugin.

I don’t think that there is date, it kind of requires someone with motivation to start working.

We do already- Eevee

Beeg knows about and has used Eevee, and anyone who’s familiar with Eevee should know it’s Blender’s realtime render so I have a sinking suspicion the conversation is about to change into one about how “Eevee’s realtime isn’t good enough,” or they want it to be the same as Unreal Engine 5 + Lumen + Nanite (presumably without a decline in performance for editing and sculpting).

Unless it was a non-obvious attempt at a joke, I suppose.

Not necessarily. I actually find that Eevee looks better. There is just too much AI denoising. Also it is biased, so when shooting a lot of rays it doesn’t look good as Cycles.
