I appologise for the ignorant statement I wrote last time,

I didn’t remember the part about nvidia influencing devs to use the tech excessively.

Anyway

We probably want nvidia to stay afloat

Right now it’s CUDA technology miles ahead of Opencl(although it would be nice to make the tech open source wouldn’t it? :wink: )

And that’s important for us blender artists,

Hell to this day octane still doesn’t support Opencl
