NVLINK mix RTX 3090 and 3090 TI

Hi All,

Does anyone know if NVLINK in Blender supports an RTX 3090 paired/linked with an RTX 3090 TI?

The RTX 3090 is now below MSRP in Australia at $1999 AUD. I was thinking I could get one of those now (3090 TI is still starting at $2499 AUD), and later when the price comes down get a used RTX 3090 TI if available.

I would think it would work as they are the same chip and VRAM capacity.

AFAIK that will not work. You need 2 completely identical GPUs. Same type, same manufacturer.

AFAIK Nvidia does not support NVLinking anymore and there is very little information out there on how to do it.

If you find out I would be happy if you posted some information about it.

I have two 2080ti gpus of different manufacturers and nvlink works fine.
