Ny cafe

Hi everyone! The original concept for this artwork is by Igor Rozovny (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nAxN9). I also took inspiration from the artwork by Dzmitry Doryn (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lVEmGe), and the graffiti walls were designed by a friend (instagram.com/4ugustx).

This is an attempt at creating a game-ready asset. I didn’t go for a really low-poly asset; instead, I went for a mid-poly asset to avoid having sharp edges in the final version.
The modeling was done using Blender, and I added some high-poly details using ZBrush. After that, I performed retopology in Blender and used Marmoset for the bakes. For the UVs I used Blender and RizomUV. For texturing, I utilized Substance painter.
For rendering, I used Blender and Cycles. I opted for a panoramic camera with a fisheye lens to achieve the desired distortion and create a more cartoony look.
Thank you! I hope you like it

Do check out this article, written by the artist himself. It describes the step-by-step process of creating the artwork and provides insight into asset modelling in Blender.
