Well, I finally have time to work on my company logo. It needs to be 3d for mini-intros before any films/shorts. The symbol is the blue whale. It will have sort of a watery energy orb with the whale breaching from one half. The other half of the orb will be redish orange (Thackary and Omar colors). The whole thing will be growing from some dirt, grass, and roots twisting at the bottom. Hopefully its not too much, but it should look sick on a t-shirt or jersey.

I just finished the dirt, I decided to redo the bottom because it wasn’t turning out right.

Don’t know really how I should transition between the orb and dirt. I’ll keep trying.

I like this! I think the transition should be smooth and lifelike, as if the blue/orange is growing from the roots. To do that you want to have some trailer/runner roots that extend upward farther than the dirt, like in the image. Maybe lower the dirt level a little otherwise it looks oblong.
