Obiwan's F1 2005

Hey everyone,

This will be the image I submit to Curtis for the F1 contest. Thanks to everyone for their helpful comments and suggestions, they really made this thing look good. 8)

Preparing for the Big Race

Yes, it is a dumb title, but I hope voters won’t notice it that much, lol.

Here’s a bigger image of the cockpit, if anyone is interested:

Once again, thank you all; I’ve had an awsome time making this, and I’ll definitely participate in the F1 contest again next year!

-Obiwan

That’s really Sweet! Looks jsut like something out of Star Wars

very nice.

that will be good competition soon.

Beautifully completed Obiwan. Magnificent texturing.

This has been my favorite F1 for a long time. You didn’t let me down in the final render, that’s for sure.

It’s midnight, I’m tired, I’ve got to get up early tomorrow, etc…so I can’t think of the proper words to express my excitement and glee about this. Maybe a simple “great job!!” will do for now?

The only other thing I could ask for is…a desktop-sized render. This isn’t a widescreen-only scene, is it (I run 1280x1024)?

i don’t like star wars, but that’s awesome

This came out really nice. Texturing is great.

BgDM

SWEET! That is so neat. I hope you win Obiwan.

I must admit though, it does look a bit like one of those Skyhoppers from StarWars. Love the texturing job. Look very high resolution. The highest mine ever get are usually 1000x2000. Your F1 is now my Wallpaper.

P.S. BgDM, how fast would a European swallow have to beat its wings in order to carry a one pound cocunut?

awsome, what did ya use for the seat texture because it looks awsome

Great, very nice texturing

The bump on that chair is amazing, along with everything else! Great work!

Woah…Man, you have to kick me to persfade me strong enough that you’re not from Lucas team:).

Move it to get first Academy Award for Blender;) hehe

I wish you good luck. Pole position is yours.

The cockpit is great, detail is perfect. The the surrounding body of the craft looks very mmm, boxy. Problem is, the cockpit is well detailed and the body is so, so. If the edges were dirty, like where someone would put there hands when getting in and out of the vehicle. Also, some kind of trim along the noticable lines. Screws, rust, something.

The cockpit is professional.
