Object > Convert > Grease Pencil (not working for a curve selection in 4.3)

I hope I’m doing something daft & that it’s not Blender - but with my curve selected, and going Object > Convert > Grease Pencil does nothing. This used to work perfectly fine in 4.2

Please help

Grease Pencil in 4.3.0 is really buggy. It does not preserve drawing preferences, it does not convert to curve and now this. I hope it gets fixed in next version, it is very hard to use now, i still use 4.0 for 2d animation.

I got the same issue, hope it will ve fixed on the next version. This problem has bem reported on the troubleshooting.
I’m using 4.2 to solve this : (
