object don't appear on render??

ok now I got a big problem…

I’m making a scene for The Exodus. So I imported a few model (with lots of object in them) in a scene. In the 3d view I see all the objects, I can move them, edit them and all. Then when I hit the render buttun some of the object don’t appear! Some part of are completly missing… This only happen on appended model…not on the main model that was there before I append the other…

I want to know if anybod yalready experience this problem…and if they suceed at resolving it…

As far as I know the models were created in blender 2.26 (or 2.25) and I tried rendering in 2.25, 2.26 and 2.27…still got the same problem…

and sorry, Ican’t really show the .blend or somepic…cause it’s confidential…

Try clicking the little padlock button next to the layer buttons. This is locks the view. This is a funny thing about 2.25 and later if you are used to using 2.23.

nop…still don’t appear!

and I cannot render in 2.23 or lower cause most of the texture are in .png :S

X-Warrior,

I have had the same problem in the past. The objects you are appending might have animation applied to them from the scene you are appending from.

So when you append the objects you can see them, move them etc in the 3D windows but when you hit F12, Blender moves them to their last known key frame, but returns them to the positions in the 3D windows when you leave the render window.

This seems to happen more when you have a large and complex scene.

Try adding new key frames for the appended objects, before rendering.

Hope this is of some help,

Sonix.
