Object following curve

Hi all ’
I’ve made a tube using bezeir curve.
Now I want to make rings on the tube.
Can I use some other method rather than create,size,rotate each one individually along the tube?

I would think you could use DupliVerts.
This may or may not help, but here you go.

Or you could use the array modifier, although array may not follow the curve…

very simple:

model one ring and add the array modifier to duplicate and offset it in one direction

then add the curve modifier to deform those rings along the path of the curve…

a bit of fiddling around and rotating may be needed.
