Object isn't rendering

I’m beginning to create a Japanese building of sorts. I’ve modeled the base and a few staircases and railings, but for some reason the railings aren’t rendering. I’ve had this problem once or twice before, but this is getting old pretty quickly.

In the outliner these objects were disabled for rendering. Click on the camera icons

Thanks! I wonder how they became disabled from rendering, though?
