Object not appearing!

I have a model imported from halo CE, and I have it textured, and it just wont show up in-game! I can see it perfectly when the game isnt playing, but when it is playing, I cant see it! I have tried using the visiblity sensor, duplicating it and flipping normals, and all that shows up is about 1/16th of the model. Its is all 1 model, and it is set to default static, visible, not a ghost. please help!

Attach or link to a blend file that demonstrates your problem

What Richard Marklew said, but blindly, I’d suggest checking the viewport settings (textured, GLSL?)… (Screenshosts? Blend?)

It is the one that looks textured. I have tried everything… http://www.mediafire.com/?61kso5uvub4tvzt

EDIT: Your material isn’t set-up right, delete it, make a new material, make a new texture, then make this new texture an image, and select the unwrapped image in the drop down list, then go into the mapping tab on the material bit, and select UV, then try…

it’s looking pretty good, I’ll delete it because it is your work…

(A tip, when making a text object and converting it to mesh, before you convert it, you can change the font, and you can get some really nice ones here:

in the font section…

(PS, is that the unedited mesh? because the topology is horrible (unless you “decimated” it?, otherwise, if the people with degrees produce that…)

lol, thanks. I found that out right before you posted it… But the mesh and texture are ripped straight from halo CE. It is set smooth in the game. But keep in mind, that game was made in 2001…

I did think about that, because it was bad in terms of topology, but was very conservative and clever in the use of polys… Damn, curse you bungie and your game developing abilities!

man, now that I learned how to properly extract models and textures from Halo Ce, I have just about every vehicle and character from the entire game in my project. Gonna be a pain in the ass to rig though!

Do you use weight paint? It took me a while to work out how to use it, I’d seen it but didn’t know what to do, but I accidentally found out - best mistake ever… If you don’t know about it, I could give you some pointers, it seriously makes rigging way faster and higher quality…
Even so, good luck, looks promising
