Object rotation different in Render

Hi people,

I did a little test render for a project I’m working on and plunged into 2.56 a few days ago. I know it doesn’t look great and the curve is bent too strong, but that’s not my concern right now.
So here’s a screenshot on how the object looks in Blender and the actual render, where the font curve is rotated differently. What could have gone wrong?

Another one, that probably doesn’t belong here, but for economic reasons: is it possible to “cap” this now hollow curve so I don’t have to put the font curve in front of it? And if not, is it possible to bevel the font curve so the bevel goes inside and it doesn’t get larger?

Thanks

The “bogen” object is being displayed with a much lower resolution value then it is rendered with. If you increase it to match you’ll see where your issue is coming frome

Oooookay, I got it  Thanks, Pappy, always worth gold!
