Hi everybody,
I want to realize, that 1 object follows 2 paths. So one corner is following one path and the other corner a different path. The movement/alignment of the object should depend on each other.
So I have 2 path and 2 empties.
Empty1 has a follow path constraint to path1. And empty2 has a follow path constraint to path2.
So now I have an rectangular object. This is has an copy location from empty1, so that the one corner is at the position of the empty.
Now I need something, so that the other corner is at the place of empty2 (I tried a track-to contraint)
The whole set up should work like that: The corners of the object should stay at the position of the empty (so the distance between them must stay the same). But also the empties must follow their corresponding curves. When empty1 is now moving along path1. The other empty and the location/rotation of the object should change automatically, so that it is always moving along the 2 paths with the correct distance and the correct alignment… (I hope you get what I mean)
I’ve attached a file, maybe this is helpful to understand what I am trying to do.
Because it is quite difficult to explain…
Any help or idea is really welcome
Greetings dechgo
