Object Text shifts

I completed a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8S_jU6iNCQ One issue with my final render is that it looks like the text shifts to the right just before it breaks apart. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix that? It’s more noticeable in my Youtube render: http://youtu.be/g8aFVvnWi14

The shift is very small. But I think the problem is that you added a subsurf modifier to the non-fractured text after you ran the cell fracture. This means the mesh that produced the cell fracture is not the same mesh (because of the subsurf modifier). It is that slight bevel that the subsurf does that is causing the shift. If you add some edge loops into the non-fractured text you might be able to tighten up the geometry to more closely matches the shape of the fractured text.

Thanks. Why didn’t this happen in the tutorial author’s animation? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSfLE0r0sec
