Objects Appear Grouped In Object Mode?

I have created a basic wall in Blender. I have added a cube into my scene and now when I go into object mode and select one of them they both select even known I haven’t added it to group with the other object. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks :slight_smile:

Did you add the cube in edit mode or object mode. In edit mode it will be added as part of the currently edited object , if you were in object mode it would be added as its own separate object
