Objects are only moving by microscopic amounts in camera view

I’m trying to move objects (using G key and mouse) in my scene when viewing through the camera. They seem to be only moving by microscopic amounts.

When I’m in user perspective, they move fine.

Any help appreciated please.

This may depend on the scale (and also if scale is applied)…

That was my first thought but scale of object and camera are both set to 1.

I meant more lile: if this is only up to 10 meters or some kilo meters… i’m not sure about this; but i know that sometimes movement in camera perspective is not the same as in user perspective.
Especially moving the camera.

My object is a car, about 3 meters long.

It’s 4 meters from camera.

Nothing extreme going on.

Okay… (or not)… i’m out of ideas… Maybe a simplyfied blend file could solve this ?

Is this just this scene, or every new file in Blender?
If the latter, you could reset your preferences to see what happens.
