when i hit f12, one of my objects is moved. its right in wireframe, but when i render, the legs of my person are in front of the cloth which should be covering the…er… “wedding tackle”. and no, i diddnt model that. but why is it moved?
I’ve had similar problems…When certain objects are lined up perfectly in blender, and then I render them, suddenly they are a little out of place. Any thoughts out there in Blender-Land? For the record, at least until we figure this out, I just move the objects until they look right in the Render Mode. I’m figuring that this is what matters most, still it is frustrating.
[>] you’re using a different subsurface level in the interactive display than in your render settings.
[>] you haven’t joined the mesh of your clothing and the mesh of your character.
[>] you have a different axis for different meshes (haven’t done 'clear rotation)
There must be more possibilities as well. There have been a couple of thread on this topic, so you might do a search to find them.
had a similar problem…
had a robot set up with pistons on its legs. the pistons were set up with a copy loc to empties and in turn the empties were parented to its legs. everything worked fine in alt-a anim but when i went to render it the empties seemed to move away from the legs kind of like an offset parent.
but when i rendered the individual frames they were in place. so it wasn’t a moddeling mistake…
i gave up on it in the end
any ideas anyone?
Oh, i think u need to set the very small purple ball thing at the middle of the mesh…then u animate them…try that…i not sure tough
does the change stay when you go back to wireframe? if it does, this might be the problem:
you have set a key frame for the object at a frame, moved along some frames, moved the object, but not added another keyframe.
Then, when you render, it goes back to the last set keyframes.
If this is the problem than you just have to set a keyframe at the new object position and the problem will be solved.
