Objects not scaling in object mode

Hello all,

I am thinking that I pressed a button or changed a setting unwillingly. When I try to scale an object in object mode, the object will not scale. It WILL scale in edit mode, but that is all.

Any ideas? I know this is far fetched…

On the 3d view header to the right of the pivot selector is an icon with three dots and a double headed arrow, If this is selected, deselect it.
