Objects Will Not Mirror, Or Flip Correctly.

Hey all. Im currently making an asset; however, i have ran into a problem for he first time since i have started it. I cannot flip the claws/fingers no matter what i try. If anyone would like to help id be very grateful! I need to get a move on with this thing!

Looks like the fingers are a different object, where is their object origin and is the mirror modifier set up correctly?
