this kind of scene, it was a nightmare, partially because gpu vram instancing wasnt working correctly but still, having a live feedback of what you do is important. and in this case the live feedback was noisy AF and moving the camera and assets is just pain, even with two 2080ti and a threadripper
thats why i tried octane, but i was quite too hyped about it 2hours ago, i did another scene and octane was better, but, cycles could quickly get back on track so im highly hesitating of switching … hmm
