Here’s a few things I’ve been working on.
The first is just a “open and create” freeform exercise, like a sketch almost. I had no idea what I was going to come up with. I then went and wanted to see how to add different materials to it. I see him as a creature that would anchor himself to a rock with his “mouth” and hang there while his legs catch food. I’m not happy with the materials, and I’ll play a little more with it before I call it done probably. I see the red “shirt” as one person here called it as a shell. I believe that he’s mostly tri free.
This one however is one I’m going to have to do a lot more on, probably starting with actually going through a tutorial to work on some of the basics. He’s an actor that I’ll be turning into an old zombie for an upcoming short movie. I’ll need a few internal shots, inside his mouth and head so I’m trying to model him since they don’t have a huge budget and it gives me an excuse to learn how to use the program better.
I’d be much more interested in hearing where I’m going wrong on the face, but if you want to comment on the creature feel free.
