Odd Curve Behavior

I’m experiencing odd behavior with curve control points, and I don’t know if it’s a setting I’m missing or a bug. In any case, it is annoying.

When curve modeling, any operation that produces new control points such as Extrude or Duplicate will produce new points inextricably welded to the points that originated them. As an example, using Extrude on an end point produces a new end point that appears to have four handles rather than two, with a loop now at the end of the curve, and there is no way to extricate them other than Moving the new points to a new layer and then Moving them back.

I’m using 2.55 on Windows 7, and as far as I can tell, all snapping is off.

i think this is normal just after E you have to move with G key then move new wpoint to a new location
that’ how it is in 2,5 need for move to use the G key
so this is not like in 2.49 yet!
