official python wrapper for the fbx sdk!

looks like there will be an official python wrapper for the fbx sdk! this could be useful for creating good fbx support (also binary fbx!) for blender.

but there would be a problem with the gpl…

i am not sure if i understand the gpl correctly… i think in-house you can do anything you want with gpl code as long as you don’t distribute anything? what if the import/export script gets distributed completely separate from blender and the fbx sdk? does it still violate the gpl then?

I’m sure blender devs will find the way. Since fbx import/export is a very important feature.
