Okie on final - mini-issue i need help sorting out!

First, thank you everyone for helping me fix some of the glitches i have been having - it has been extremely helpful despite some of the frustration i have shown (my apologies for that).

Alright onto the last big issue im having yay!

Everytime i boot blender or start a new file, it auto loads one of my previous projects instead of the basic cube. (2.60a btw)

I can currently fix it by “Restore Factory Settings” then “Save User Preferences” but doing that forces me to redo and re-tweak all the settings the way I would like them, and seems to be only a temporary fix.

Is there some sort of hotkey I’m hitting that is auto-changing my settings while I’m creating?

If you press Ctrl+U it will save the current window state as your default layout

Hmm its possible but i don’t know why i would do that every time I’m working - I’ll keep an eye out just in case though :stuck_out_tongue:
