I am often trying to learn more about IKA and armatures, however I find that most tutorials listed above are hopelessly out of date. Is there any way we could de-list tutorials which will only confuse new users, and discontinue links to those sites that are unwilling to update their sites (I mean come on… how long has it been since Blender added armatures?).
I think that things should be done correctly: We should make a correct web site that is dedicated to a correct listing of the blender tutorials. Everyone should be able to add tutorials, and everyone should be able to vote for the quality fo the tutorials and add comments. There should also be some basic categories and search possibility (by category, vote, submitted date, etc). IMHO this is the only way to easily manage the tutorials and keep a good overview!
I’m ready to do that web site, and I would begin in about 2 months, when my exams will be finished. I would use PHP and MySQL and if blender.org or elysiun is motivated, I’m ready to give them the code to host, otherwise I do it (I’ve already a good hosting solution for my own web site). And if possible I could already gather the tutorials listed in this forum and add them.
What do you think? Is there a real need to that? Would people use that if I do it? How would you see it work?

I am sure lots of people would use that facility (I know I would) and it would be a great service to all those trying to learn blender.
I too have noticed that some of the tuts that are listed are out of date, however I think that hosting a web site for only that purpose would be a little silly. Most of the sites that are listed here are part of the community and have links to other sites with different tutorials. In my case I just follow the links around until I find a site that has the tutorial that I was looking for. I don’t think its that hard to find up to date tutorials on the web. It may take a little time surfing around but there out there.
