Old JS Exporter: can anyone recognize it?

Hi all,
I am returning to webgl development after many years and I am trying to put back together a content creation pipeline.

It seems that several years ago I used to export models from Blender in this format (looks like as a new user I can’t attach files…):

{

"metadata" :
{
    "formatVersion" : 3,
    "generatedBy"   : "Blender 2.62 Exporter",
    "vertices"      : 895,
    "faces"         : 1786,
    "normals"       : 895,
    "colors"        : 0,
    "uvs"           : 1205,
    "materials"     : 1,
    "morphTargets"  : 13
},

"scale" : 1.000000,

"materials": [	{

“DbgColor” : 15658734,
“DbgIndex” : 0,
“DbgName” : “Material”,
“blending” : “NormalBlending”,
“colorAmbient” : [0.0, 0.0, 0.0],
“colorDiffuse” : [0.341340451558537, 0.6400000190734865, 0.31160524355776964],
“colorSpecular” : [0.5, 0.5, 0.5],
“depthTest” : true,
“depthWrite” : true,
“mapDiffuse” : “goblin.jpg”,
“mapDiffuseWrap” : [“repeat”, “repeat”],
“shading” : “Lambert”,
“specularCoef” : 50,
“transparency” : 1.0,
“transparent” : false,
“vertexColors” : false
}],

"vertices": [0.325474,-1.034723,-0.277413   ....

…which was great since:

  • it was pure json
  • it contained everything in one file, including animation frames

I wonder if anyone can recognize this, and if this kind of exporter is still available for recent versions of Blender.

Ultimately what I am looking for is some kind of json/text export that will contain vertices groups for each animation frame, and face groups for each material.

Thanks
r.
