Old Splash Screens

Going through the Blender source tree (earliest commit 12 October 2002!), I found some old splash screens I haven’t seen posted anywhere else. Enjoy.

Cool. I like the 2.26 one even though it does not look like 3d.

oh nice! they are pretty neat actually. agree with loolarge the abstract one is most appealing. or timeless.

man I can’t wait until blender 2.6 or 2.5 have support for animated .mov splash screens.

Haven’t seen those, thanks for sharing :stuck_out_tongue:

Very cool  Interesting… until 2.21 the splash screen’s visibility was saved in the user preferences.

Heh, nice, Ive never seen these older ones before. My first version of Blender was 2.37 (with the orange fluid splash)

I was really digging the 2.44 splash! I started with 2.43 and the new Essential book. That all shows a nice evolution!
