I am half-way through a project where I am editing DV footage. Everything has been going well, I’m finally getting comfortable with Blender and liking it a lot. However, my project is stalled now because the next file will not load on the timeline, whether I select it from the file list or click and drag it to the timeline. An error message pops up stating that the file could not be loaded.
I tried loading it in a blank Blender project, but no joy there, either.
I can open this file with VLC and can load it into Sony’s Vegas (on the Window’s side), but not in Blender. What could be causing this problem? Where should I look? This file was digitized from the same tape as the other four files, all are about the same length. I am stumped.
Suggestions would be appreciated.
