i searched the forum but i didnt find anything, so i gotta ask…
i have a model made in blender. it is kind of a humanoid and it is made out of one single cube, so it is only one object itself. for some game engine purposes i need to “split it” into different objects, which later should be “head”, “body”, “legs” etc. i know how to make vertex groups out of meshes, but how can i make multiple objects out of my single object

edit: i got the solution. only press p in edit mode after selecting meshes.
