I have finally gotten around to putting something together to use when applying for jobs. For now I converted my news domain into an art site. What do you think?

This is all game art. I should have some more content to post soon too. Work has started up again on a large personal project.

Your materials/textures look fantastic and the scenes look like they would be at home in any good pc game, I’ve played half life 2 and the standard is comparible. On a side note I also really enjoyed your bullet physics entry, I presume you must be in the process of trying to make a game? if not, you should be. Great work

i agree with seanser, you should deff make a game! i luv the textures! and your personal section reminds me of the suffering or manhun games. dark and creepy. very nice

Nice to see some work again blengine. It has been way too long since you last posted some stuff here.

As always, awesome work.

Sweet job. Nice, professional finesse.

Wow, Silent Hill. O - o
It’s from 2nd, i believe. It’s my favorite.
Wow, looks just like in game. %o~~~ Great work…

Beautiful work. Only one thing bothers me. The lighting on the mattress texture looks off.

meh, I was waiting for some powerpuff girl action…

anyway, looks nice. Nice to see new stuff from you.

hey blengine, I had to tweak your entry blend a bit, the domino was off a tad. It was nice, and these pictures look great.

looks good, may do your torso tutorial,if you put it in pdf format using the free open office
people could download it

Thanks for the great comments guys!

Shuriku, yup that’s Silent Hill 2, my favorite too.

Duncan, shoot you’re right, I didn’t even realize. I’ll probably update those shots this week, thanks for spotting that.

Ecks, heh that’s going to prevent me from running for office one day.

spiffyandy, the entries may have different results on different computers. Erwin is working on a more consistent and reproduceable performance.

Hey edwin, I never liked pdf’s because they run so god awfully slow on my computer. I’m biased. They are nice looking though, I’ll probably offer them for future tutorials, thanks for the input.

Watch your use of default pages with auto redirect. See what happens when you visit http://theboomshelter.com/gallery/

(nice texture usage, btw…)

Ah I see. Yeah it might be a good idea for me to have that redirect to the gallery page, thanks.

Include some wireframe render.

Include some cheeseframe render.

inspiring game art man. Really look forward to seeing new stuff from you.

Yes, those medieval buildings are great, outdoors and indoors too.

Quick, call KONAMI! You should make some awesome modeling for SH5! x)

Very cool work. Makes me think of Silent Hill 4

Professional work - no doubt you’ve made your marks!
