This is a model I did fairly quickly for practice and fun. I finished it yesterday, and tried to render it the same night… I didn’t realize how long it would take… My dad came home and thought the computer was frozen so he closed everything down. I restarted the render this afternoon: nearly 7 hours later, it had finished. As this is my first real render (ie, large image size, ray tracing enabled, specific materials), I’d appreciate your comments on it.
I realize there are a few artifacts. I’ll edit those with a bit of post-pro tomorrow… No time tonight with school tomorrow morning.
Criticism welcome. 
I don’t plan on rendering this scene again, but I will be making this mesh into an animation later.
